Spectators will discover a story that oscillates between fiction and reality, at the heart of which the 1916 fire that ravaged the church takes root. Accompanied by a guide, the audience plunges into a gloomy world, where a well-kept secret should have remained in the shadows. Strange presences, a hidden laboratory, nightmarish experiments, an obscure plot and a horrible tragedy are just some of the elements that will be gradually revealed in the course of this wandering show. Directed by Olivier Lépine and Maxime Perron, the tour will consist of five scenes featuring some twenty circus artists. As they make their way through the church, audiences will have the chance to explore some unusual locations. They'll end the adventure on the Machine de Cirque terrace, located in the ancestral woodland behind the building. Here, thanks to a partnership with Cirque Kikasse, they'll be invited to round off the evening with a drink, with or without alcohol.
"The aerial performance is singularly vertiginous, but also very beautiful. The beam of light that illuminates the performance casts the shadow of the acrobat's body in motion on a wall of the church."
